Update On President Jonathan’s Meeting With ASUU
The ongoing meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leaders of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU,went on a 15-minute break.
The break commenced at about 6:30 p.m at the presidential villa, Abuja, venue of the meeting.
The meeting is the first between the striking lecturers and Mr. Jonathan since the nationwide strike started on July 1.
The lecturers were seen meeting among themselves in their bus during the break.
ASUU has been on strike for over four months for the non-implementation of the 2009 agreement the Federal Government signed with the union.

After 15 minutes of break, the meeting resumed
