Thugs Allegedly Loyal To Saraki Invade Kwara Revenue House Over Unpaid Allowances

Suspected thugs allegedly loyal to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Wednesday, invaded the Kwara State Internally Generated Revenue office located at Commissioner’s Lodge Way in Ilorin, over their unpaid allowances.

According to a Twitter user with the handle @YAN_Lade the thugs popularly known as “GOOD BOYS” laid siege on the premises of the revenue agency till some undisclosed amounts of money was released for payment.

Recall that thugs wearing ‘PDP Atikulated T-shirts,’ and also reportedly loyal to Senate President Saraki, recently disrupted the federal government’s Trader Moni Scheme in Ilorin, the state capital.

The hoodlums stormed the Mandate and Ipata Market where petty traders had queued up to be enumerated by officials of the Bank of Industry (BOI) to disburse the N10,000 collateral free loans to them. Aside intimidating the traders, Trader Moni agents were also chased away by the thugs

The thugs insisted that the TraderMoni scheme could not be conducted, because the Senate President Bukola Saraki’s father donated the land to the state government to build the market. Calm was restored with the intervention of the police.
