Three repentant militants under the Niger Delta Amnesty programme recorded a milestone in their various disciplines as they all graduated with first class honours in the United Kingdom.
Nicholas Nathaniel Goodness and Terubein Fawei who graduated from university of Bedfordshire finished with first class honours on public relation and telecommunication and networking engineering respectively.
Lucky Godswill Azibanagein graduated with first class in mechanical engineering and Robotic system from university of Liverpool.
In an event organised by the Nigerian High Commission UK, the Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigader General Boroh congratulated the graduands for making Nigeria proud.
He restated President Buhari’s commitment towards ensuring that the Amnesty programme is sustained and desired goals achieved.
He urged the avengers to emulate the militants who lay down their arms to embrace education that can make them indispensable to the world.
He cautioned the economic saboteurs to embrace dialogue and support Mr president on his agenda to develop the Niger delta region.
There are total of 18 student from different disciplines that graduated with second class upper division.
