THE NEW NIGERIAN AMBASSADORS AND THEIR PLACES OF POSTING
President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday at the council chambers of the Villa presented letters of credence to the 93 newly appointed Ambassadors who will represent Nigeria in the international community.
The new Ambassadors, seven of whom will remain in Nigeria while 62 and 24 will serve as Ambassadors and Deputy Heads of Mission respectively were told by President Jonathan to go and serve the world with “dedication and pride” and take as their primary assignment, the defence of the interest of Nigerian living and operating lawfully in their countries of accreditation.
Those appointed as Ambassadors includes Nigeria’s former Foreign Affairs Minister Ojo Maduekwe, former Minister of Aviation, Fidelia Njeze and wife to late Biafra warlord Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu
