A new commissioner of police has been posted to Zamfara state police command.
A statement by the Command PPRO Muhammed Shehu made available to the press in Gusau said the new CP, Zannah Mohd Ibrahim has assumed duties from 1st January 2019.
The statement said the new CP has served in various commands and locations across the including Yobe and Delta States.
The new CP had however solicited for the support of men of the command to secure the state from activities of criminal elements.
