Sikiru of Oniru: The Making of A Drug Lord (Season 2)
News of Sikiru’s ordeal in the hands of Bimpe soon became public in Kebbi state, he became the laughing stock of the guys in the corpers’ lodge. Rukayat who has been interested in him was the first to boldly walk up to him and ask what the issue was. He denied any rift between himself and Bimpe and said he only came back to Kebbi that quickly because Bimpe had to travel home for an important family engagement.
Events in the next couple of days however corroborated the breakup story, the normal ‘please am on the phone’ and ‘I want to call my wife’ was no more. He was rarely on the phone and when he was, it was brief and without the normal ‘I love you’ phrase. He soon took to drinking with the guys and was secretly dating one of the SS3 students, Tolu. His affair with Tolu soon became known in the lodge and before long, Rukayat got gist about it.
As a very intelligent girl who was also interested in Sikiru herself, Rukayat soon plot ways to deal with Tolu and with the help of other corps member, they devised various plans to get the girl to pay for her affair with Sikiru. Tolu played into their trap when one day she came late to school and was asked to go to cut the grasses at the corpers lodge as punishment. As she was serving her punishment, Rukayat and her friends made mockery of Sikiru and ask rhetorically why men could descend so low for something smaller when they can have the bigger meat.
Rukayat got her wish as Sikiru soon asked her out. They both became hot cakes and were seen together both at the lodge and at the school where they both served. Sikiru was however secretly seeing Tolu alongside Rukayat, this was kept secret by the help of the expert advice of big bros Debo. Debo was known in the whole of Birin Kebbi as the grandmaster of women affairs. He had more than 6 corps members he is involved with and has 2 more SS3 students to complete the fleet of ladies.
Sikiru learnt fast and soon dumped Rukayat for another corps member Oyinye who had a very wicked behind. She was not the prettiest lady in Kebbi but had a very wicked shape that was very hard to ignore. Onyinye soon became the first lady and before long Rukayat and her gang confronted the Igbo girl to deal with her for snatching her man. Onyinye’s gang too fought back and it became a free for all fight, cloths were torn and the guys had a good view of some of the ladies natural endowments.
Debo advised that Sikiru dump both girls to serve as lesson and move on to another lad. This was a month before the end of the service year. Sikiru got another corps member Hauwa with whom he signed a month’s contract with. They were to stay together till the end of the service year and go back to their various bases afterwards. They soon became the hottest couple in the lodge, always seen in each other’s company to the great envy of Onyinye and Rukayat.
The week they were to pass out, Sikiru did a valedictory with Tolu with whom he still maintained the secret affair with. They painted the night clubs red and came back to the corpers lodge afterwards to settle on the bed and relax in each other’s arms for the night. Hauwa’s turn was on the day of POP. They hung out and made the most of their last days together as after this they were to face the realities of the labour market.
The goodbyes were teary and with a heavy heart, they had lived together for a year and now it’s time to say goodbyes. They all exchanged numbers and for the last time, they relayed back the fun and trips of the last one year, this was over and they all head back to their various states the next day to face life. Sikiru embarked on the journey back to Agege with high hopes and prayer for a good job soon.
To be continued.
