Senator Ita Enang: The Mistake Uyo Senatorial District Made By Eneh John
Finally, Rt (Hon). Senator, this and that Ita Enang blew the whistle of misgovernance by the Akpabio’s administration.
Like wikileaks, he came out all for one man named “Godswill Akpabio.” I recollect vividly in 2007, how Ita Enang lost the senate ticket to Imeh Albert, which was later collected and given to senator Effiong Bob and how Ita Enang was smuggled into the House of Representatives by the same Akpabio he is going against today.
Ita Enang’s sojourn to the senate was a huge mistake. I believe after his vituperations on saturday, Akpabio will be somewhere regretting why he helped him get to senate in 2011.
I want to remind senator Ita Enang that one of the cardinal and moral rules is that you don’t talk while eating.
Since 1999, Itang Enang, then a member of the House or Reps, have been a pro government person.
Just like a PDP governorship aspirant in Delta state came out to publish the names of people he helped in the past, even with a meagre sum of 5,000, thinking the strategy will help, but he failed woefully.
Please we challenge Ita Enang to mention the people he has helped in the present or in the past.
Today, the same people you wined and dined with in Abuja and Government house Uyo, left you to your fate.
You cannot always blame the circumstances, but destiny has made it that PDP denied you the ticket to the senate for a second term.
You failed to understand the politics of “stomach infrastructure,” which Nigerians are now used to.
Even when the same Akpabio you criticise today once told you,”Udo ebo ke afo usu noho awo nkpo.Udo sie nno awo nkpo.” Meaning, “you don’t always give something to someone, always give someone something.”
Akpabio, even if he has amassed so much wealth for himself, in as much as it is you Ita Enang telling us to ask him to account for the money, we won’t ask him.
You have suddenly realise that Udom is no better choice. You attended the seminary at Planet F.M,and became a saint overnight.
Brandishing yourself as a better choice to our own very Obong Bassey Albert.
Sir, you were wrong.
The politics of today is beyond speaking of grammar at the National Assembly.
I once attended a meeting with some politicians, which one ask the other,”my brother what are you going there to do, he said, to collect money, eat and share to my constituents also.”
If it is by grammar or being vocal, my brother, Dr.Kayode Fayemi would have floored Fayose in the Ekiti governorship elections.
Just like you thread on the same path of stinginess with your colleague in the senate, Senator Aloysious Etok, your constituents in Uyo senatorial district have continually said you have done nothing and do not deserve a second term in the senate.
It is not me who said you and Aloysius Etok are pasimonious, your people told me.
It is on this note that I will tell the people of Uyo senatorial district, that as Obong Bassey Albert gets to the senate next year, you are poised to smile, as his doors are always open to everyone, irrespective of class or status.
The days of plenty english in Akwa Ibom is long gone. OBA will give you the performance you deserve in the district.
I will advise our outgoing senator Ita. Enang, to use the remaining part of his tenure to make amends with his senatorial district.
Do not drag us into your disagreements with Governor Akpabio. When the going was good, the world never heard.
You spilled the beans at the wrong time.
For the people who will be dragged into arguments on this, remember that when Ita Enang will go to Abuja or Government house Uyo tomorrow to eat and drink with the same Akpabio he is standing against today, you will not be there.
We are more wiser than he thought.Ita Enang is still eating from the same powers that made him.so he must not talk.Else, you wrestle against morality.
A REPUTATION FOUNDED ON INTEGRITY MUST BE NURTURED BY TRUTH.
