Sallah: Gbemi Saraki Donates Four Buses, Food Items to Islamic Body

Former senator and first daughter of the late strongman of Kwara politics, Senator Gbemisola Rukayat Saraki, on Friday in Ilorin donated four buses and food items worth N5 million to the members of Jamu’hiyat Qulumal Lillahi Yah’alu Society of Nigeria, an Ilorin based Islamic group in commemoration of this year’s Eid-Adha, otherwise known as Ileya festival.
The PDP chieftain made the donation at the National headquarters of the Jamu’hiyat Qulumal Lillahi Yah’alu Society of Nigeria at Adamgba area in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Senator Saraki urged the Islamic body to continue to preach peace and love in Nigeria as the two ingredients are essential for the continued existence of Nigeria as a nation.
The gift items include over 5000 specially packaged food items and medium vegetable oil.
Members of the Islamic body were visibly elevated as they sang praises of Senator Saraki to high heaven.
In his response, the leader of the Islamic body, Sheik Atayeise, said it was the first time such gesture was ever extended to them since the group was established 5years ago. He commended Senator Saraki for the buses and gift items.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of her late father, Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki.
