Right of reply: Is Olisa Metuh Speaking for PDP or for Himself? – PDP Youth Frontier

At the National Headquarters of the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier, Abuja, our attention have been drawn to news making the rounds concerning a statement released to the press by one Comrade Chibuzor Nwachukwu who parades himself or herself as the President of the PDP Youth Frontier.

Though unfortunate, we at the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier have refrained from issuing a formal reaction to this clear incidence of impersonation and character assassination with a dubious intent to create unnecessary tension within our ranks in the Peoples’ Democratic Party because we consider it another desperate attempt to attract attention through smearing our image – an outdated plot that have failed several times in the past.

Considering the fact that this Unknown Comrade have not relented, we consider it necessary to respond thus:

That the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPYF) is a sociopolitical group affiliated to the office of the National Youth Leader of the Peoples’ Democratic Party via the directorate of youth affairs.

That following the recognition of the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPYF) by the National Headquarters of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, the group was issued with a certificate with number PDP/DYA/14/04/020 attesting to such rare recognition.

That the outcome of our preliminary investigations have shockingly revealed that while the names Comrade Chibuzor Nwachukwu do not exist in the records of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, the group he claims to preside over – “PDP Youth Frontiers – an amalgamate of PDP Youth Advocacy Groups in the South East” is as unknown and in-existent as himself as a result of which they are both not in any way known and/or related to the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPYF).

That the dead joke of a press statement issued by the Unknown Comrade Chibuzor Nwachukwu on behalf of his in-existent group wherein the person of Chief Olisa Metuh, the National Publicity Secretary of our great party – Peoples’ Democratic Party and his office was denigrated is disrespectful, distasteful, irritating, repugnant and condemnable.

That consequently, we wish to publicly alert the leadership of our great party; the largest and strongest political party in the black race – Peoples’ Democratic Party, security agents, our media partners, our members in the diasporas, our volunteers and unsuspecting Nigerian Citizens on the existence of this faceless gang of identity thieves. We further charge them to beware of them and their antics and encourage them to refuse to fall prey to them wherever and whenever they are seen.

The above being the case, the Peoples’ Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPYF) hereby re-affirms its rock solid loyalty to the ideals and manifesto of the Peoples’ Democratic Party as well as the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR.

We remain strongly committed to the re-election of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR. come 2015 and encourage every patriotic Nigerian to rise above religious, tribal and political affiliation and do same.
