Reno Omokri Denies Alleged Link To Cambridge Analytica
Mr. Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has denied alleged link to Cambridge Analytica.
Recall that Cambridge Analytica sought to influence the Nigerian presidential election in 2015 by using graphically violent imagery to portray President Muhammadu Buhari as a supporter of sharia law who would brutally suppress dissenters and negotiate with militant Islamists.
Omokri, in an Email sent to Abusidiqu, described the allegation as “false”, saying he “challenge this administration to come up with even on shred of evidence to support their false allegations and innuendoes. I know they cannot because none exists.”
While admitting that he worked as a Vice President of Joe Trippi and Associates before becoming one of President Jonathan’s spokesmen, he stressed that neither himself “nor Trippi and Associates is linked to Cambridge Analytica.”
