President Buhari Swears In Seven New Permanent Secretaries
President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in seven new federal permanent secretaries who were elevated from the positions of directors in the Federal civil service.
The event took place in the Council Chambers of the State House before Wednesday’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council presided over by President Buhari.
The seven permanent secretaries were among the 22 directors elevated to the position.
Fifteen of them took their oaths of office in August this year.
Those sworn in on Wednesday were Mustapha Adamu, Kano State; Adekunle Adeyemi, Oyo State; Comfort Ekaro, Rivers State; and Adedayo Akpata, Ekiti State.
Others were Abdulkadir Muazu, Kaduna State; Ndubuisi Osuji, Imo State and Bitrus Bako Nabasu, Plateau State.
