President Buhari And Obasanjo Meet In Ethiopia
President Muhammadu Buhari and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo have met at the ongoing African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This contact marks the first time both men met since the controversial letter from Obasanjo, criticizing President Buhari’s administration on some issues, where he also advised the Nigerian leader not to seek a second term in office.
They met briefly in the Nelson Mandela plenary hall of the African union Commission, just before the opening ceremony of the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU).
Before Obasanjo went to pay respect to President Buhari, another former President, Abdulsalam Abubakar also took time to exchange pleasantries with President Buhari.
