Police Arrest 96 Suspects Over Kaduna Crisis
The Nigeria Police says Ninety six (96) suspects have been arrested by the Police for their involvement in the crisis that occurred in Kaduna state leading to loss of innocent lives and destruction of public and private properties in the state.
The Inspector General of Police IGP Ibrahim Idris made this known in a conference with Commissioner’s of Police and above in Force Headquarters Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital.
Mr Idris said: “Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 7 Headquarters, AIG Taiwo Lakanu to lead the intervention Force from the Force Headquarters and remain in Kaduna state to implement the new security arrangement and strategies to bring lasting and Sustainable Peace to Kaduna State and environs.
“More Patrol vehicle has been deployed to support the Kaduna and FCT Police Commands to sustain the peace and normalcy that have been restored.”
