PHOTOS: Nigerians Donate Blood For Abuja Bomb Victims. Find How You Can Donate Too
The National Blood Transfusion Service, NBTS, in Asokoro got large turnout of Nigerians who came out to donate blood to save the Nyanya bomb blast victims at the Asokoro General Hospital.
The blood donation became necessary following the shortage experienced as a result of the high number of people who got injured from the blast.
To donate blood, visit Asokoro General Hospital 11, Julius Nyerere Crescent, Off Yakubu Gowon Crescent, Asokoro, Abuja. Go straight to the Laboratory. (Or National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) Abuja. No. 39 Abidjan Street, Wuse zone 3,. Abuja).
The process of blood donation is pretty easy and will take just few minutes. They’ll test to ensure the blood is eligible and then they take one pint of blood. It is pretty easy.
You can also donate items like soap, drip, syringe, bandages, detergents and other things you believe would be needed by the hospital at this time.
“This is not what we should do but what we MUST do. It’s people going to make living like us that got killed, those that are living lets do what we can.” Please do something! Let us ensure those who are not dead can still live.
