PDP Picks Replacement For Mu’azu
Barring any last minute change of plans, the Peoples Democratic Party leaders who are rooting for the resignation of the party chairman, Adamu Mua’zu have concluded plans to replace him a governor of the South South region.
According to source, the PDP leaders may have concluded plan to replace Mu’azu with the outgoing governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke.
This is even as Imoke last week denied eyeing the PDP chairmanship job.
The report stated that the choice of Imoke was concluded on Monday my the party leaders considering his experince as the eldest governor in the south-south region which the party wish it produced the next PDP Chairman.
It was further gathered that the PDP is not willing to sack the embattled chairman but will do everything possible to ensure Mu’azu resigns his position.
