Over 11,000 Graduates To Benefit From N-power In Anambra State
Over 11,039 young graduates are to benefit from the second phase of the N-Power programme of the Federal government
The Vice president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo made the disclosure in Onitsha during the Micro medium and small enterprises clinic, said the batch would be lunched soon.
He said the Federal government had gone further to refine the program so it would not just be monthly stipend for the entrepreneurs, but to make them independent and self reliant through learning of enterprise
The vice president described Anambra state as a leading manufacturing giant and home of commerce, with Onitsha and Nnewi as the industrial hubs not only for the state economy, but for the country.
He commended the state government under the able leadership of Willie Obiano for creating the enabling environment for business growth and investments, assuring the Federal government support.
He also commended him for unlocking the potentials of the SMEs through the creation of the Anambra state business agency
“The federal government is committed to working with the Anambra state government to create a better life for the citizenry as well as attract investments that will have lasting prosperity,” he said.
