Our King is a Year Plus… Our Ruins is a Year Worse! By Oyinkanola Mayowa Hafiz
Our king is a year plus…
Cheers and greetings fill the column of magazines, journals & blog page’s praising his rule & lot’s of well wishes…
His reign is quite a point of reference, characterized with abnormalities & odd dealings Brute and harsh we might call his reign or better tide of Tyranny
Our king is a year older, just like yesterday he was crowned at the demise of late King Yar’dua, a pious patriot who stand against corruption & upheld the rule of Law…
Blood, tears and wail of cry fill the air yet our king’s declaration is top priority…
Our king cares little or not about a part in his kingdom, a desert place with nothing to contribute to the GDP of the kingdom his thought I presume.
All that matters to the king are the black swampy areas of the kingdom that bear oil… Who wouldn’t love his kinsmen?
Our king fails to realize his stand & status, which makes him belittle himself and authority, our king seems to hold on to his place of birth at the expense of the whole kingdom
He turn blind eye to the North, nonchalant about the east, set the cord of dispute to the south & fan the looming trouble in the west.
The fire on the mountain has descend low, burning the bridge that links the kingdom
The wild fire consuming and engulfing the North east of the kingdom is fast encroaching to the core North soon to the South…
Displacing citizens, ascertaining orphans, widow and widower yet our king care less Our king rather focus his might on those who questions his rule, unleashing on them his furry and wrath Demeaning their status if need be…
Our king is a year plus today, Our girl’s are still missing, Our treasury is still looted day-in-day-out, Our king prefer to wallow in the midst of known thieves, rogues, tout & criminal…
Should we allow our King another Four year of reign? Happy birthday sire, Long life to witness the horror you set out for our nation
