Open Letter to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State By Maxwell Adeyemi Adeleye
Your Excellency Sir, sure you are doing well? Sir, I’m presently in Ekiti state. I visited my town, Ilogbo Ekiti earlier today-27th September-and I took pain to walk around the town. Shockingly, i discovered that the 200meters access road (with drainage) project started a year ago by the management of Ido/Osi Local Government has not been completed. The spot ONI led government left the 3.5km Usi to Ilogbo road project is where it is at the moment. The about two kilometers tarred by Oni government on the road before he was decayed from office has almost collapsed.
My Dearest Governor of Ekiti State, please, Ijurin to Ilogbo, Osi to Ilogbo and Ido to Ilogbo roads are all yearning, begging and desperately and anxiously shouting for attention.
The abandoned civic centre project along palace road also sent me to you and the management of Ido/Osi local government that it should be completed before the end of this year.
Let me say a thank you to your government for the N1.8million donated for the completion of our Oba’s palace. The three buildings rehabilitated by Ekiti State government in Ilogbo High School were also seen.
However, our utmost priorities for now in Ilogbo Ekiti are as follows:
-That all roads leading to Ilogbo Ekit should be reconstructed and rehabilitated. This is very germane because any town deprived of good road will be outgunned of innumerable social amenities.
-That all the warped streets light poles in Ilogbo-Ekiti should be re-fixed.
-That the public dry pipe-borne water points in Ilogbo Ekiti should start dispensing without delay.
Sir, if these aforementioned are done, by the special grace of God, I can assure you of 95% of total votes in Ilogbo Ekiti come 2014 governorship poll.
Thanks and God Bless sir. …Regards to Aunty Bisi.
