OLISEH BLASTS FG, NFF OVER RASHIDI YEKINI’S DEATH
Sunday Oliseh, a one time captain of the Super Eagles and former teammate to Nigeria’s goal king, Rashidi Yekini has expressed sadness over how the late football icon was treated by the federal government and the Nigeria Football Federation.
In a statement expressing his anger on his personal website, Mr. Oliseh reckoned that Yekini deserved better treatment than he got from a country he served so well. “I am ashamed to see how this asset to our nation was treated and honored by our football federation and our Government at that. In other words he died not being rewarded for his efforts to make Nigeria great!” Oliseh stressed.
