Obasanjo Formally Launches Autobiography in Lagos Despite Court Order

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has just launched his autobiography titled “My Watch” in Lagos. Abusidiqu learnt that the launch earlier scheduled for thursday was shifted back to today.

It was gathered from a reliable source that President Jonathan appealed to Obasanjo to postpone the book launch but the Ex- President replied there was nothing in the book that was not already in public domain.

The launch is proceeding despite a court order obtained by Mr Buruji kashamu to stop the publication of the book which Mr Obasanjo’s lawyers informed didn’t bar him from launching it.

At the launch which is ongoing as at the time of this report at the Lagos Country club are Obasanjo allies like the Ex- Education Minister and Vice President of the World bank, Oby Ezekwesili amongst others.Former Vice- Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Mr Ibidapo-Obe is also in attendance.
