NSCDC Warns Marketers Against Fuel Diversion

The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), has warned independent marketers to shun hoarding and diversion of petroleum products meant for the state.

The State Commandant, NSCDC, Ayinla Taiye Olowo, gave the warning during an interview with pressmen on Thursday in Damaturu.

According to him, errant marketers would be arrested and dealt with according to the law.

“We embarked on stop and search of petroleum Tankers to checkmate the fuel diversion. Our special Armed Squad personnel have been deployed across the state for this task,” he said.
