Deputy Chief Whip of the Federal House of Representatives, Pally Iriase, has denied speculations that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state will join former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Iriase stressed that no member of the Edo APC would defect to PDP because “there is no Atiku factor in Edo politics.”
The lawmaker, who addressed reporters at his Otuo home in Owan East, said Atiku was unfair to Nigerians when he left the APC because of failed promises of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
