Nigerian Leaders Are Fighting Corruption With Corruption – Fredrick Fasehun
Dr Fashun made the revelation at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday where he said corruption is fast becoming a monster that would destroy the country if the right methods were not adopted to quickly tackle it.
“Corruption reigns supreme as a thriving industry. And corruption is fast becoming a monster that will destroy the nation if the right methods are not adopted to quickly tackle it,” he stressed.
“Unfortunately, our leaders keep adopting corruption to fight corruption. What happened to the billions recovered from late former Head of State, Sani Abacha; from former Inspector General of Police, Tafa Balogun; Lucky Igbinedion, James Ibori and the rest?”
Fasehun restated the call for the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference saying the panacea for the restructuring, reforming, re-designing and re-transforming of the nation was only through the Sovereign National Conference.
