Nigeria Wins 3rd Gold At the 2012 Paralympic Games
Athletes with disabilities otherwise referred to as “Special” people have so far shown that they are more able than the able bodied men and women athletes who represented Nigeria at the 2012 London Olympics.
For the third time at the Paralympic games ongoing on in London, the “special athletes have raked in gold medal for the country. This time around it is 30 year old Esther Oyema who this afternoon won Nigeria’s 3rd Gold Medal in women’s 48 kg Powerlifting on Day 3 of the London 2012 Paralympic Games at ExCeL London.
This brings to three, the number of gold medals won by Nigeria’s paralympians in the power lifting category. Congratulations to Esther!
