Nigeria, France Sign $475m Agreement
President Muhammadu Buhari and Emmanuel Macron of France on Tuesday, signed agreements for French assistance totalling $475 million for projects in Lagos, Kano and Ogun states.says security and a good economic base would solve Africa’s problems.
This is just as Macron expressed deep concern over terrorism threatening peace in Africa during a joint press conference at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Macron, in his speech stated that he was committed to having a strong bilateral relations with Nigeria in the areas of fighting terrorism, improving the economy, sports and cultural development.
Recall that the French President worked as a diplomat in Abuja some fifteen years ago.
