Niger: Urban Renewal Becomes Priority As Kuta Road Wears New Look

In the ongoing development of infrastructure across the state, the Niger state government has made urban renewal top priority of its development goals.
This is why the ever busy Kuta road which was an eyesore in the past now wears a new look with the urban renewal efforts of the government of Abubakar Bello.
Rehabilitations and constructions of road networks, drainage system, and pedestrian walkways are being given keen attention to make Niger State convenient for dwelling, business and investments.
The state capital is fast becoming accessible not only for visitors from other states but the residents. This is as a result of development of infrastructure within the state, including the state capital.
The administration has identified poor infrastructure as hindrance to economic growth in the State. This contributes to efforts to improve its social amenities and infrastructure, which are required for sustainable development.
