Niger Govt Issues 6-Week Ultimatum To Contractor Handling Bosso Estate Road

Niger state Commissioner for Works, Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Kagar, a has issued a 6-week ultimatum to the contractor handling Bosso Estate road.
Speaking during on-site inspection of the project, the Commissioner said he would personally monitor the progress and quality of work on the road.
While also visiting Tagwai dam road for assessment of progress on the ongoing project with which he was not entirely disappointed, he urged the contractor to redouble efforts to ensure it’s completion as the raining season is not too far off again.
According to him, the days of contractors not taking their jobs seriously is over, noting the best for the projects and for the people is to be on ground, even while contractors are on site.
He maintained such a new attitude might put all contractors in Niger state through sleepless night, but the best for his own schedule and brief as Works Commissioner is to be on the field while projects are being executed.
