N-Power News: 2017 Volunteers Payment Begins, Official Social Media Channels Revealed
N-Power, the Buhari administration’s job creation and empowerment scheme has announced that the 1st batch of 100,000 2017 graduate category volunteers, deployed in August have been processed for payment and would have received their stipends while others will follow shortly.
It will be recalled that the 2nd batch of 300,000 volunteers were deployed in August and N-Power has been working round the clock to process payments. This is however determinant on the volunteer’s status on their profile page. Those that their status reflects “Onboarded” means that their details are currently being validated while those whose status reads “Enrolled” have scaled validation and have been processed for payroll.
A lot of speculations or outright falsehoods about N-Power and its activities have often times been peddled on social media, that’s why the public are advised to always cross-check information via N-Power official social media channels. For instance, on Facebook, it is “Npower” with the verified blue tick. Once you input Npower in the search icon, it brings out options. Click on the one with the “verified blue tick”, that is N-power’s official Facebook page. On Twitter it is @npower_ng.
Not many know there is also a stand-by call centre to respond to enquiries or address challenges faced by N-Power beneficiaries across the country. The following are the support centre numbers:

The transparency of the N-Power scheme has endeared it to Nigerians. From the recruitment period to shortlisting to its day-to-day activities, the story has been the same – Nigeria has never had it so good with any Government programme in recent history. This has not made it relent, instead it has continued to trudge on to remain the “numero uno” amongst other National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP).
