My Administration Is Committed To The Welfare Of Youths, Says Ambode
Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, said his administration is committed to the welfare of youths in the state and has plans for youths resident in the state.
Ambode said this on Monday while inaugurating the newly built Aiyetoro Bridge as part of the 21 Lagos-Ogun Boundary Network Roads in Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.
“65 percent of the people who are living in Lagos are below the age of 35 years. And that is why we need to plan for them. That is where the future lies.
“Not all of us can become graduates, but we can all have technical skills to earn a living. That is what this government is all about, that is what we want to do and that is what we will do,” he said.
According to the Governor, the younger generation needs an adequate plan by the Federal Government hence the need for his administration to plan for them.
“We need to start planning for the younger ones so that they can have something to do. When they leave school, we should be able to plan for them,” he added.
