Reports coming in from Kano indicates that a multiple bomb blast has occured at a church inside the campus of Bayero University Kano. Sporadic gunfire was also heard minutes after the blast.
Source according to Premium times said the attack targeted catholic worshippers at the Champlaincy right inside the university.
As at the time of this report, the extent of damage and casualty figures cannot be confirmed, but security personnel who we learnt arrived the scene almost 20 minutes after the attackers fled have taken over the scene and cordoned off the area.
