Massive Fraud Uncovered In Akwa-Ibom Governorship Election
Just as the fraud perpetrated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the just concluded governorship election in Rivers State, where the PDP candidate, Nyesom Wike was declared winner has been exposed, the same has been uncovered in the Akwa-Ibom State governorship election where the anointed godson of Governor Godswill Akpabio, who is also the PDP guber candidate, Emmanuel Udom.
In Rivers State, the Independent National Electoral Commission awarded Mr. Wike votes almost five times higher than the actual, authentic total number of voters accredited with card readers and Permanent Voter Cards which was 292, 878,
Meanwhile, in Akwa-Ibom State, the card readers, which were used by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), show that only 437,128 voters were accredited during the April 11th election. However, the “winner” of the election, Udom Emmanuel was fraudulently awarded 996,071.
In similar vein, INEC arbitrarily allocated 89,865 votes to Umana Okon Umana, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a source, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state simply colluded with Governor Goodwill Akpabio and the PDP machinery in Akwa Ibom State to massively rig the polls. The source said the reality on the ground at the election could not justify the huge number of votes allocated the to the PDP candidate in the governorship election.
The card reader data, obtained by SaharaReporters and attached below, show that Orue-Offong Oruko local government area, the lone LGA won by the APC candidate, is the only area where the number of accredited voters as recorded by card readers almost tally with the number of votes declared by INEC.
Several cases disputing the outcome of the April 11 election have been filed before the elections petition tribunal in Akwa Ibom.
