Lagos CP Denies Stopping Anti-govt Protests, Says Security Would Be Provided For Protesters

Lagos Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni has refuted stories making rounds that Monday’s anti-Buhari protests will be stopped.
Speaking as a guest at Channels TV 7pm programme this evening “Politics Today”, Mr Owoseni assured that the Police will provide security for the 2Face- led anti- Buhari Protests scheduled for Monday, 6th February, 2017.
The Police Commissioner assured that he was in contact with organisers of the protest and they have put mechanism in place to ensure a peaceful rally.
The rally will not disrupt economic activities, Mr Owoseni emphasized.
