Kwara PDP: Belgore Congratulates Ajibola, Urges Kwarans to Support Him

Following the emergence of Senator Simeon Ajibola as the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 governorship election in Kwara State, one of the aspirants who contested in the party primary, Mr Mohammed Dele Belgore SAN, has congratulated him while describing his victory as freedom for Kwara.

Belgore said this on Saturday in his official statement on the just-concluded PDP governorship primaries in Kwara State.

“The emergence of Senator Simeon Ajibola in a keenly contested primary which I participated is practising democracy unlike what is obtainable in other political parties. His victory is indeed freedom for Kwara.

“I am an unapologetic believer in democracy. The process was credible and transparent. Since the delegates have spoken through their votes, I stand in deference to their choice.

“The task ahead is enormous, the time has come to end years of underdevelopment in Kwara State. We must work hard to reclaim our stolen mandate.

“I remain committed to the course of freedom for our people and I offer hand of fellowship to our gubernatorial candidate to guarantee an end to tyranny in Kwara State.

“I thank the people of Kwara State and my supporters for their immeasurable supports and I encourage you to extend same level of support to our party and governorship candidate in order to deliver Kwara State for the PDP in 2015.”, he added.
