Kwara Govt Names PDP Chiefs as Mastermind of Attack on Governor Ahmed

The State Government has identified Muhammed Madugu Haliru, PDP House of Representatives aspirant for Kaiama/Baruten federal constituency and Haliru Dansofo, immediate past Special Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs and PDP House of Assembly aspirant, Kaiama LGA and Saidu Yusuf, a PDP chieftain as the brains behind the attack on Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed.
The State Government in a formal complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command said the PDP chiefs sponsored some miscreants to attack the governor’s convoy on Tuesday.
Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed was in Kaiama on Tuesday for the flag off of the construction of 64 kilometre Kishi-Kaiama road project and the commissioning of the modernized General Hospital in Kaiama, where some hoodlums attacked his convoy.
In a letter signed by the Senior Special Assistant Security Intelligence to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, B.S Abdulsam, the State government said the PDP sponsored hoodlums vandalized two vehicles belonging to the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and one Kayode Adamsin the governor’s convoy.
The complaint also indicated that at about 3’0clock in the morning of 26th November, 2014, the PDP youth members in Kaiama destroyed some billboards of Governor Ahmed.
