Factional Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr. Bayo Dayo, on Monday, led men of the Nigeria Police, together with his team to dislodge the the Sikirullai Ogundele led executive from the party’s state Secretariat on IBB Boulevard, in Abeokuta.
The Publicity Secretary of Bayo Dayo – led factional executive of Ogun PDP, Bolaji Adeniji, who spoke with a correspondent from The Nation the recovery of the building from Ogundele’s camp, said 17 persons stationed at the party Secretariat were arrested and would be arraigned in court today.
Bolaji described Ogundele and his executive members as dissident group, accused them of invading the party Secretariat and stationing people suspected to be political “thugs” at the secretariat.
