Is The Sultan Among The Yam Eaters?!!! By Muhammad Sulaiman Abdullahi
Looking at what happened by the so-called “Peace Committee” even an insane and entirely mad person cannot hesitate in giving the question an affirmative answer. Yes he is. Why was he there persuading and pleading with the president, who is protecting the remaining yams and trying to recover stolen ones, against prosecuting, Oh… probing the looters? I remember the sigh of delight by the Egyptians when their dictator, Husni Mubarak was brought to justice, caged. He was brought in a cage, despite the fact that he performed magically especially when compared to our Jonah. Jonah is ours, however he ate much of our yams and let others to greedily scamper on our collective property. It isn’t theirs; they should bring it back, no matter who tries to prevent that from happening.
Alhamdulillah! These days, the government of the day doesn’t use religion to abuse the minds of the vulnerable masses. Jail them all. I don’t care much about Oritsejafor, not because of his religion, something that I revere much, but because of his hellish credentials and negative antecedents. If I were Buhari, I will move an inch further and jail or dethrone all these criminals. Abdussalam was also accused of eating and stealing too much of the yams. Why wouldn’t he participate in such a heinous, monstrous, dreadful and shameless committee? His participation is not something to be surprised of. His non-participation would have been surprising!
The Kukah of all people! I don’t know much about him but I read enough of him to know that he didn’t deserve to participate in there. But I can figure out why some supposed innocent people like the Sultan, Kukah and Oneiyekan participated. These people and all the remaining members of the “Corruption Committee” are undoubtedly millionaires if not billionaires. They don’t suffer any hardship the way the remaining Nigerians suffer. They don’t lack anything. Everything is provided to them at the expense of the dying and stinking masses, sometimes by the brainwashed and overzealous ignorant masses or by the merciless thieving and corrupt government officials. However, the government and those in government give them much. That’s why; they don’t see any harm in campaigning against the masses. They have smartest phones. They ride luxurious cars. There more-than-enough mansions are annually renovated by the governments. Their bellies are always filled with the rice harvested by the poor, illiterate and dying masses. They don’t give a damn about all the woes of the remaining people. They can plead because they did not lose anything before, and they are sure, they won’t lose it next. May be that’s why.
They are not the only royal or religious fathers in the nation. There are others. Why so many didn’t participate? Or is the committee only for the super Men of God; Sultans, the Ayos and the likes? This is ridiculous, men! The earlier you get it into your old skulls that masses massively vote for change in order to see change, the better for your integrity, houses and traditional or religious titles.
Why wouldn’t they secretly go and advice Jonah to return the loot? Who are they working for? Jonah’s personal entity or the entire nation? Yes, he knows that we know he is clueless. But cluelessness is not a license for stealing and embezzlement or allowing other to. If you “The Peace Committee” eat our yams as well, they should just vomit it out, we don’t mind the way you produce it back to the treasury, whether it is vomiting, throwing, tipping or whatever, what we mind is it should be returned.
You are religious leaders not Nigerian leaders. The sooner you face your religious issues and do to it what Buhari is doing to the nation, the better for all of you. Most of you are corrupt. They clergy is dirty. The mosques and churches are now transformed by unscrupulous few into abuse centers. Bring sanity to that and allow Buhari to do his job. Buhari didn’t go to any church or mosque and ask them to repair their loudspeakers in order not to unnecessarily pollute the society. He didn’t ask your accounts to be audited. He didn’t interfere in all your dirty affairs, then why are you interceding on behalf of the criminals. Birds of the same feather flock together.
I agree that Jonathan should have a soft landing if he agrees to return the loots. He has to cooperate and blow the whistle. Let him pinpoint those who made us poor. Those who denied us access to world class health care system. Those people who denied us road, food, security, welfare, …….. it is disheartening. We don’t mind which tribe, region or religion they belong to. Let them be Buddhists or Animists if they like. We are tired of Muslim looters. We are bored by the Christian thieves. Whatever their religion is, deal with them Baba. No religion asks them to subject others to poverty and depression. Baba Buhari, probe them to the best of your ability. You took an oath to protect Nigeria. Go ahead don’t mind them. This is the best time not to give a damn on their ranting. It is very sad. Time for change must be supported by all.
Still some people and especially those who regard themselves as “superior” to the other humans/masses in Nigeria, don’t agree, or rather don’t feel that the change we aspired and installed in Nigeria is a reality. Their dream, hope, body language and even active and physical struggle are to tamper, ridicule and eventually terminate the moving cargo. Corruption has already been engraved in their hearts. They sympathize with looters, not thinking about the millions of Nigerians whom are killed (the real dying) because of the corruption. See this Sultan! A lot of people revere him. However Ayo is already known to be a clown yam eater! Kukah of all people, reverend is always attached to his name, see him naked fighting for corruption to perpetuate. No wonder Nigeria is where it was. Insha Allah whoever steals and loots Nigeria will be brought to book, come what may. Continue your evil plan, “we” the masses are solidly behind the truth. Why are these people pleading for Jonah? Do they have any skeleton in their cupboard? Doing the right thing is not humiliation, it is called justice. If you didn’t steal our money, be rest assured you will be spared. Therefore, don’t be afraid, we need a better Nigeria.
