The Injustice And Inequality Meted On The Youth As Exerted From Our National Anthem By Adebisi Korea.
Arise O’ Compatriots
Nigeria’s calls obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom
Peace and unity.
O God of creation
Direct our noble cause
Guide our leaders right
Help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where
Peace justice shall reign.
*Arise O’ Compatriots to obey Nigeria’s call to serve our fathers land with love and strength and faith. >Is there a clear justification to serving our fathers land through the NYSC scheme, when our brothers who have done that are still on the street looking for Jobs as a result of our unemployment or is it the same youth who have gone through the tertiary system and are about to start enjoying life but whose lives were cut short by the terrorist group(Boko Haram).
*The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain.> Please fellow patriotic Nigerian, who are the heroes past?? Is it the same of people who out of gree dines and their egocentric and venal attitude loot us of treasuries or is it those who sold our fathers and mothers as slave to the white people all because of incentives??? Or is it those who politicized the economy of the country??
*O God of creation, direct our noble cause. >What Noble cause are we asking the God of creation to direct?? Is it looting of petroleum or the missing Sure P funds or is it the was the bourgeoisie keeps exploiting we the masses???
*Guide our leaders right. > Which leaders are we praying to be guided right(Ballot or Bullet)?
*Help our youth the truth to know. > What truth do the youth need to know, is it the same youth that the Boko Haram are busy maiming or the 200+ female children in the forest or the youth that the Force have kill for daring to speak the truth.
*Great lofty heights attain. > What height are we praying to attain in a country where the leaders give less attention to the followers. In a country where the budget allocated to the Education sector is below 9 percent and we all take high cognizance to the word of Nelson Mandela who said “Education is the most powerful weapon, to build the world”
*To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign. > Can peace reign in a country where Boko haram killings is always the breaking News everyday and can justice also reign in a country where 5 is greater than 12 or in a country where Minority impeach Majority.
Arise O’ Nigerian student…
