Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says all the vehicles being used for distribution of materials and monitoring of governorship election in Ekiti have been installed with a tracking device to know their movements.
The Ekiti State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Abdulganiyu Raji explained that the step was part of measures to ensure the security of every stakeholder taking part in the election and hold them accountable.
Professor Raji said the tracking device would also assist INEC to listen to conversations around polling booths, collation centres and the conduct of other stakeholders.
