I’m still the Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate ——Yinka Aluko
The winner of the Kwara Central Senatorial primary and former Security Adviser to Governors Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatah Ahmed, Mallam Ahmed Yinka Aluko, has thanked delegates and the entire people of Kwara State for their unflinching supports towards his emergence as the flagbearer of the party in the 2015 general elections.
Aluko in a statement issued in Ilorin today also debunked the rumour that his mandate has been stolen by some lobby groups describing it as a mere tissue of lie and misleading information stressing that the decision and voices of the delegates in the Sunday senatorial primary has further brightened the future and hope of the people of Kwara Central and Nigeria at large.
He however commended the delegates, his teeming supporters, the entire members ?of Kwara PDP as well as security agencies for their doggedness and cooperation towards the free, fair and credible conduct of the Senatorial primaries held on Sunday.
According to him, “with the overwhelming supports from delegates in the four local government ?areas across the Kwara Central Senatorial district, I am still the flag bearer to contest the 2015 senate poll and I am very much committed about the well-being of the future of our children and generations yet unborn.
“Any attempt or claim to change it by any person or group is not only ?a mere and uncharitable rumour but also it is an effort in futility.”
