High Court in Rivers State Bombed and Set Ablaze
Reports reaching Abusidiqu.com indicates that a High Court in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State was Monday bombed and set ablaze.
The court until it was destroyed was the sitting room where Justice Charles N. Wali usually presides.
According to reports, the bomb went off a few hours before a politically charged suit against Hon Evans Bipi was to commence.
Bipi is a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and leader of a group of 6 lawmakers, who has been unlawfully parading himself as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The case to be heard by Justice Wali was to seek an injunction to restrain Bipi from parading himself as the speaker of the River State House of Assembly.
No casualty was reported, but a lot of damage was caused by the fire.
