Herdsmen-Farmers Crisis: ‘State Police Is The Way To Go,’ Says Osinbajo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), has said the establishment of State Police in the country will permanently nip in the bud, the incessant clashes between Fulani herdsmen and farmers.
Osinbajo said at the opening ceremony for the two-day summit on national security organised by the Senate.
“State police is the way to go,” said Osinbajo on the spate of killings by herdsmen and other crimes across the country.
The Vice President further faulted claims that President Muhammadu Buhari is doing little to check the crimes by Fulani herdsmen due to his Fulani origin.
