Gunmen Storms Abuja Legislative Quarters, Many Feared Dead (Photos, Viewer Discretion))
An undisclosed number of persons were at the early hours of Friday, September 20 killed by unknown gunmen at an uncompleted building behind the National Assembly Legislator’s Quarters in Apo, Abuja.
The gunmen, dressed in military uniforms stormed the building in the wee hours of the night and rained bullets on the occupants of the uncompleted building.
A resident in the area said that at about 12:30am he heard gunshot severally throughout the night, causing panic in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the owner of a building close to the uncompleted building had warned people who pass the night in the building to desist from it, but they refused, only for the massacre to be reported in the early hours of this morning.
While many persons were said to have lost their lives, some who were lucky to escape sustained various degrees of injuries.
