Government Schools in Kaduna State To Go Online
The Kaduna State government has entered into an Understanding with a private firm, Newwave Network Limited to put all government schools in the state online.
The memorandum of understanding to that effect was signed on Friday by the state govt represented by Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Education and a Managing director of the private firm, Alhajo Abdullahi Kachia at Conference Hall of the Ministry of Education Kaduna State.
The project is going to assist both the government and the general public of accessing credible data and other vital information about each of the schools online. The project also includes provision of free and compulsory annual ICT training to all junior and senior students as well as teachers of government schools in the state.
The occasion was attended and witnessed by the Honourable Commissioners of Education Hon. Ibrahim Ali and Hon. David Chatjok of Ministry of Science and Technology and Alhaji Abdullahi Kachia MD/CEO of Newwave Network Ltd, all stakeholders from the ministries as well as Zenith Bank plc.
In a chat with abusidiqu.com, MD of Newwave Network Ltd, Kachia said the project will inform the whole world about the giant strides made by present administration in the state in the area of education and other aspects that can uplift the living standard of youth in the state, this will assist organization looking for partnership to have easy access of data and other useful information about this important sector.
