Gov. Fayemi Appoints Abusidiqu Online Editor, Maxwell Adegbenro Special Assistant on Social Media

One of our own, an editor with Abusidiqu.com, Maxwell Olusegun Adegbenro has been appointed Special Assistant on Social Media to Gov. Kayode Fayemi.

The appointment was announce by the Ekiti state government.

Mr. Adegbenro, aside being an online editor for the political and sports section of Abusidiqu.com, was also a regular contributor on topical issue for the internet weblog.

A native of Abeokuta, Ogun state, Mr. Adegbenro graduated from the University of Ado-Ekiti where he bagged a bachelors degree in accounting.

Adegbenro is a writer, journalist and activist based in Ekiti State.

Before his appointment, he also served as a reporter for The Nation Newspaper’s Campuslife and a Bureau Chief of Fountain NewsBreaker, a western regional publication.

Adegbenro was the former Director of Publicity, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee Zone D.
