Gov. Amaechi Threatens to Expose Jonathan And His Abuja Agents
Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has threatened to open a can of worms on the past deeds of concerning President Goodluck Jonathan and his Abuja-based agents who are after the resources of the State instead of the welfare of all Nigerians.
Amaechi, who spoke when the Archbishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, Anglican Communion, Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, paid him a courtesy visit in Port Harcourt on Wednesday said “I will speak to the state… When I speak to the state, you will not respect any of these people” (Abuja-based politicians).
He said because of the many troubles they had faced him with he won’t run for any other political office in 2015, added that the people of Rivers State and Nigerians would lose their respect for his critics by the time he opened up on their evil deeds.
“I am not running for any other position that they would say ‘you must manage information so that people can trust you’. Nobody realises how much effort we have put in place for people to walk on the streets.
“Nobody realises how much money we have put in place to make people walk on the streets. All they are interested in is how they would bring down those efforts. So, as men of God, you must stand for the truth and preach the truth.”
Amaechi made the strong worded threats when the Archbishop of Niger Delta, Anglican Communion, Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, visited him in Port Harcourt.
Earlier, Kattey prayed for God to grant Amaechi the grace, strength and wisdom to continue to perform and overcome any challenge.
The cleric lauded the governor for his achievements in the state, saying, “Your Excellency’s administration has made landmark achievements in all sectors of our economy.”
