Barely 3 days since he returned from Cote D’Ivoire, former President Goodluck Jonathan has again traveled out of the country.
The president who arrived Nigeria from from Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday and went straight to his Otueke hometown is now in London.
This was confirmed in a tweet by his former Special Assistant on New Media, Reno omokri, who said he just landed in the United Kingdom with the ex-president.
“Just landed London Heathrow with former President @GEJonathan, Omokri tweeted via his twitter handle.
Former President Jonathan was rumored to have gone on self exile of fears of possible arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission bordering on several corruption cases in his government.
He met briefly with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, who reported reassured him of his highest regards and made it clear to him that there was no plan to arrest him or his wife, Patience over the ongoing corruption clampdown.
