No fewer than five persons were confirmed dead following a crash which involved 16 vehicles at the Kara Bridge axis of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Thursday.
53 persons made up of 40 men and 13 women were involved in the accident, with 11 men and eight women injured.
Vehicles involved in the crash were BDG27AA Nissan bus white; GGE818XC Daf truck white; XS216KSF Nissan Cabstar blue; APP769XR Daf truck white; MUS411DG Honda car black; APP303DV Honda Car green; AKD520XN Mazda bus white; and KTU340XU Ford bus white.
Others were FKJ475BR Lexus jeep; AGL545XF MAN Truck white; BDG561XG MACK Truck white; KRD122XC Sino Truck white; AGL197XD Sino Truck white; KRD123XC Sino truck white; KTU594XM Volkswagen bus yellow; and DAF Truck(BHN) no number.
