FG Urges Police To Protect Citizens In Kwara
The federal government has urged the Nigeria Police Force to redouble their effort and ensure protection of lives and property in Kwara state.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the call at the official inauguration of the Ultra Modern Mobile Police Barrack built by Offa Community and donated to the Nigeria Police, along Ojoku road in Offa Local government area of the state.
The Minister urged the police to ensure better security in the state and environs.
He advised that the robbery incident should not be allowed to occur in the communities.
The governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed who was represented by his special adviser on security , Alhaji Hamza Bello assured the people that his administration would continue to provide necessary logistics to ensure adequate security of lives and property.
In a remarks, the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, represented by the CP Mopol, Lawal Jimeta gave the assurance that the Mobile Police Barracks in Offa would serve the purpose.
