Ex-Saraki’s Aide, Yinka Aluko Joins Kwara Central Senate Race, Picks Nomination Form [Photos]
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, former Special Adviser on Security to former Governors Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State, Alhaji Yinka Aluko yesterday vowed to unseat his ex-boss from the national assembly in the forthcoming general elections.
He also promised to use his wide of experiences in various fields of endeavours to contribute his own quota to the socio economic development of the people of the Kwara central senatorial district during the 2015 general elections.
Aluko who is now a senatorial aspirant of the party in the Kwara central senatorial district of the state disclosed this in Ilorin yesterday shortly after obtaining his form of expression to contest the Kwara central senatorial district of the state.
According to him,”I am prepared to serve the people of the Kwara central senatorial district so as to add values to their socio well being. There is no doubt that, I possess all the neccessary exposures that will endear the people of my senatorial district to vote for me if I am giving the mandate during the party’s primary.”
Aluko who described the PDP as a demoractic party in Nigeria and Africa said that, the party has created a platform for all intendiing aspirants to seek any elective positions of the party.
“The gesture has gingered many members of the party to come out to seek elective positions in this forthcoming elections in the country. I enjoin all other people who are still outside PDP to come into the party in order to contribute their quota towards the development of Kwara and Nigeria in particular.”
He however implored the people of the state to continue to support the PDP so as to assist the party to win the next year general elections in the state.
