Engage in Entrepreneurial Activities, Rep Member urges Youth
As the world commemorates the celebration of international youth day, the lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency at the lower legislative chamber, Mr Tajudeen Obasa has urged Nigerian Youth to remain law abiding, shun all forms of social vices and engage themselves in entrepreneurial activities.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the lawmaker cheered them to engage in entrepreneurial activities in order to sustain their future and build a better nation
“The government must take it as a priority to invest in the youth. The age brackets of youth in the Nigeria society are the independent taking utmost care of the dependent ( aged and children). I know it is an arduous task for any administration to tackle unemployment but it is high time government at all levels create a conducive environment for businesses to grow”
“Nigerian youth should not forget the economy of the country is a mixed one in charge by both private and government (Public). In Britain it is an exclusive right of government while in United States it is in the hands of private. With this it is easier for Nigerian Youth to invest because the economy is free for all”
“All individuals in the nation cannot be engaged in white collar jobs, it is a privilege for an individual to have one, for those still searching. It will be good if they can engage themselves in entrepreneurship to compliment their future of getting a job because no idea acquired will be a waste”
Obasa pleaded with President Mohammodu Buhari to appoint young Nigerians in his cabinet for him to build the next generation of leaders.
